Gauri Shrestha From CCA Wins Ummed Jain Scholarship 2023

An ACCA student studying in Certified College of Accountancy
(CCA) Ms. Gauri Shrestha has won a prestigious award- Ummed Jain
Scholarship 2023 that was established by the family of late Mr.
Ummed Jain. He became the first ACCA member from Nepal. Gauri
Shrestha, who is a good-performing student of CCA, has been
selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants.
The Ummed Jain Scholarship selects a female ACCA member every
year from all over Nepal fulfilling the criteria and awards the candidate
with the scholarship. The scholarship covers the ACCA exam fee,
tuition fee, annual subscription fee, ethics, and professional skills
module fee and cost of learning materials from ACCA Approved
Learning Partner (ALP) for a year. 
This year, students who were applying for the scholarship had to
submit an essay on “How the scholarship will contribute positively to
their career, to the community in which they live and to the accounting
profession in their country?”. Among all the applicants, Ms. Gauri
Shrestha was selected as the winner of Ummed Jain Scholarship
2023.
Academic Director of CCA, Mr. Diwas Silwal says “We are proud to

prestigious award. This scholarship is a well-deserved recognition of
your academic achievements, leadership potential, and commitment
to community service. We believe that this scholarship will enable you
to pursue your academic and professional goals and provide you with

beyond.”

The whole CCA family is delighted and proud of Ms. Gauri Shrestha
and wishes her best of luck for her journey. The college hopes that the
scholarship will be helpful for the student and be an inspiration and
stepping stone for her to achieve even more in her bright future
